I dreamt that I was in a store and it was like a CVS kind of store and I was in an aisle and it started flooding and I’m like walking around trying to get what I need I think for work and there was an empty wine bottle and someone in the aisle was like oh that teacher she just she when it started flooding. She drink that whole wine bottle and then just left kind of implying that she was taking advantage of the situation but alluding that she went back to teach students so I’m like waiting through this water. It was flooded probably about to my knees with my little basket and I pay and leave the store. I’m in the store before I leave actually I see my coworker and she was just getting some things for work too and then heading over to a school where we work cause then waking life we work with children And children with disabilities and I am their boss actually and I am about 10 years older so I walk over to the school it’s sort of looks like my high school in a way in a little different sort of like a generic high school like a two story building with lots of classrooms and hallways and things like that They’re also a giant elevator almost like a freight elevator, but really big so a lot of people can fit in it in the center of the building connecting the floors, so I go to the classroom where my coworker is and she is with a student one of our clients that we work with a child and all of the children that we work with autism And she seems really sad and and waking life for both gay women, and I noticed in the dream, I was like kind of getting really close to her and like trying to comfort her with hugs and things and like almost cuddling, and she was talking about going to church a lot and how it was so important to her, which I don’t know to be true in waking life and how our family didn’t support her going to church and would like change the schedule when she wanted to go and how she was seeing this girl romantically and wasn’t sure if she supported her going to church and it was just a lot of that and her looking really sad at one point, I left to go follow this group a big group of like rowdy. I think they were supposed to be teachers, but they were like rowdy in the hallways like all walking together almost like they were I don’t know, old friends or something. It was a mixture of people from my waking life, though like people I knew kind of peripherally in high school and people I’ve known as all acquaintances like no close people, and I like felt a desire to be a part of that group for some reason, even though I didn’t really wanna be with them, I felt like I needed to like find my way in, but then they all got into the freight elevator, and I thought they were gonna kind of try to jump to make the elevator stop and that made me really nervous so I tried to like scoot away to not have to get on the elevator and so I just kind of like tried to discreetly turn the corner and walk back down the hallway toward the classroom and there was a pretty gregarious teacher teaching like a high school English lesson and the child we were working with was probably an elementary school and my coworker was still looking very sad and kind of curled up in the corner with this client helping her with her homework and for some reason, felt a desire almost like a romantic pull to this person which I felt conflicted about knowing that I’m 10 years older and also her boss
